I spent the majority of my day at the annual Autism Expo, presented by Families with ASD. It was my first year to have a table at the event, and I was so impressed with and grateful for all of the families who stopped by to talk with me (thanks to all!).
Many children accompanied their parents, and everyone seemed to enjoy the display of instruments I'd brought to share. One boy, in particular, made my afternoon when he asked "What is this?" about an instrument. "It's a cabasa," I replied...to which he politely told me "Gesundheit!" : )
