I have a black dog. I also have a 21-month old niece who loves said black dog. Bella (niece) laughs her little tush off when Tess (dog) jumps, licks, and plays with her. I wrote this song for Bella, but it's a great action song for any child. Bella also likes to fill in simple words such as "me", "woof", and "shhh" when I leave a pause in the song.
BLACK DOG
When I get home from school I see
My black doggie waiting for me.
My black doggie’s so happy to see me…
That she says “woof, woof, woof, woof.”
My black dog says “woof, woof.”
“Woof, woof, woof, woof.”
So I tell her “ Shh, shh, shh!”
That her body goes “jump, jump, jump, jump.”
My black dog goes “jump, jump.”
Jump, jump, jump, jump.
And I tell her “Sit, sit, sit.”
That her tail goes “wag, wag, wag, wag.”
My dog’s tail goes “wag, wag.”
Wag, wag, wag, wag.
And I tell her “Good girl, good girl, good girl.”
That her tongue goes “lick, lick, lick, lick.”
My dog’s tongue goes “lick, lick.”
Lick, lick, lick, lick.
So I say “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
When I get home from school I see

And I’m happy to see her too!
