You may remember a birthday-related song that was posted last month. While December bombards my family with birthdays, January brings some relief. However, there is a certain birthday that I'm looking forward to on Friday- Music Matters celebrates turning one! Time does pass so quickly. While I've been working as a music therapist since the completion of my internship in the first half of 2006, I've only been my own boss for not quite a quarter of that time. I must say, that I try to be thankful each day that I made the decision to form my own company. I have been blessed to work with amazing families and their children, as well as other therapists and educators. Thanks to all of you, for allowing me to write this post and celebrate one year! It will be very exciting to look back at this time next year and see what 2010 has graced me with.
In (advance) honor of the day, I'm sharing another birthday tune with you. Focusing on birthday candles, this may used a few days leading up to a party or the introduction of a cake, to help prepare for blowing candles out. As you can see in the accompanying photo, there are plenty of spaces to add more candles.
